CHELSEY ARCE (She/Her) is a choreographer and movement director based in New York City. Upcoming productions include WANTED, The Legend Of The Sisters Clarke and Bartleby in collaboration with Fiasco Theater which will premiere at the Old Globe Theater. Most recently she Choreographed the acclaimed Henry 6 at The Old Globe Theater in two parts, Directed By Barry Edelstein.

Chelsey currently is the US Associate Movement Director on The TONY Award winning Harry Potter And The Cursed Child on Broadway as well as the First National Tour. She has served as an associate choreographer for The Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd (Choreographed by Steven Hoggett, Directed By Tommy Kail). In addition to broadway she has served as a Resident Artistic Director at Cirque Du Soleil’s ‘Twas The Night Before’ (directed by James Hadley, choreographed by Vinh Nguye) as well as the Assistant Director and Choreographer on Cirque Du Soleil’s broadway style show PARAMOUR Hamburg (directed and choreographed directed by Sergio Trujillo). Other Favorite Assistant/ Associate work include The Metropolitan Opera’s Carmen (directed by Carrie Cracknell, choreographed by Ann Yee), A Tale Retold (choreographed by Joshua Bergasse), 2014 Sochi Olympics (choreographed by Danny Ezralow), Germany’s Next Top Model Finale (choreographed by Sergio Trujillo) and Tony Award Performance of Sweeney Todd (choreographed by Steven Hoggett)

As a Movement Director, Arce has choreographed/ movement directed for the Feature Film Love in Kilnerry, as well as for The American Girl Brand.

Chelsey is a Helen Hayes nominee as well as a graduate from The Boston Conservatory with a BFA in Dance Performance. She has had a very successful performance career in both musical theatre and the classical dance world. Some credits include Original Broadway Cast of Cirque Du Soleil’s PARAMOUR, Tony-Award Winning Musical MEMPHIS First National Tour, Evita First National Tour; The North American Premiere of Love Never Dies First National Tour, and The Met Gala. International credits include Daniel Ezralow’s OPEN. Arce has worked in both film and television as a performer including: Italian hit TV show AMICI; Saturday Night Live; The Kennedy Center Honors (Rita Moreno Tribute); The Detour; Gone With The Bullets; China’s Got Talent; TED 2. She has also had the pleasure of working and dancing alongside artists such as Katy Perry, Beyonce, Nicola Roberts, Migos.
